The churches, palaces, castles and architecture of Vienna bear obvious witness to the fact that this city was long a centre of European power. Shopping by the mile
Shoppers in Vienna can expect to do a fair bit of walking. By the time you have begun at Maria Hilferstrasse and continued through all of the shops in Kärtnerstrasse and the other boutiques in the Ring, then you will really know that you have been shopping.
